Revival
inn, built in the l840's,

The Shelby Inn Mercantile,
was the focal point of commerce in Shelby, TX. including the post
office, opened in l846, a saloon and the phone company. Guests can
enjoy a peaceful stroll through the beautiful outdoor gardens and
walkways connecting the five individually unique farmhouses for
lodging. The farmhouses include:
The Shelby Inn, Mattie’s Homestead, The Carriage House,
The Shelby Inn School House and Henry’s House; all perfect for
your stay in this unique Texas town. Each of these charming
farmhouses are newly decorated mixing the old and new, and
come complete with wonderful high thread count linens.
Mattie's Homestead
is a large 3 bedroom, two story 1900's farmhouse with a
newly renovated open country kitchen. Come and relax and
enjoy the Texas country scenery on the covered front porch
at Henry's House.
Guest staying at The Shelby Inn
School House, built in the
l880's, will enjoy the open beamed ceiling and loft. The Shelby Inn Carriage House,
with its private balcony overlooking the gardens and wedding
chapel, makes this a favorite for newlyweds.
