The Shelby School House is a
must-see. The
original l890's one-room school house
is large and open like an old
school
house should be. It
comes complete with a large
open living, dining and
kitchen area downstairs with 2 queen-size beds upstairs in the loft. There
is a full bathroom downstairs with lovely towels and soaps. The linens on
each bed are wonderful high thread count linens to enjoy after a fun day.
The large living area is
decorated with comfy
oversized furniture to
relax
and read or watch the
large screen TV with a DVD
player with a variety of
DVD’s to select from. And what is
school house without a large
chalkboard
for your entertainment? For dining, there is a large dining table and
chairs or also bar stools around the large kitchen island.
The Shelby School House has
a charming
front porch and
also a large back porch to
relax on and enjoy the
pastoral
surroundings. Guests
can enjoy the new beautiful
gardens and walkways that
gracefully wind through out the grounds of The
Shelby. A peaceful stroll through the colorful perennial flower
gardens and relaxing on the charming garden benches along the walkways is a
special treat for guests.
